In the third Violet Mackerel book, Violet Mackerel’s Natural Habitat, Violet makes friends with a ladybird and names her Small Gloria. She would like to be helpful to the ladybird and also to her sister, Nicola, who is having a lot of trouble with a science project at school. But being helpful isn’t always as easy as it sounds.
